The following are audiovisual short films that I made inspired by synesthesia.
These three video loops were created by composing audio to match visuals that I designed using the Vsynth package in Max/MSP/Jitter.
“Hello World” was created as an exploration in audiovisual filmmaking by using video synthesis, green screening, and stop motion animation to create visuals to accompany an already written composition.
The following are audiovisual projects using audio visualizer systems I built. Unlike the projects above, the visuals are generated in real time based on the compositions.
This one uses the SYNTHesthesia system I built between Ableton Live and Max/MSP/Jitter.
This one uses an audio visualizer built in TouchDesigner to visualize I beat I made with Littlefoot.
The visuals were designed in TouchDesigner, and music was later composed to match it.
